We have covered major and minor chords, now let's move on to some chords that you need to learn! 7th Chords!

Play a D7 chord:
1. Place your 2nd finger on the 2nd fret of the 3rd string.
2. Place your 1st finger on the 1st fret of the 2nd string.
3. Place your 3rd finger on the 2nd fret of the 1st string.
4. Strum down from the 4th string.
The D7 is basically a mirror of a D chord, however, the finger placement is quite different.

Play a E7 chord:
1. Place your 2nd finger on the 2nd fret of the 5th string.
2. Place your 1st finger on the 1st fret of the 3rd string.
3. Strum down from the 6th string.
The E7 chord is like an E chord but you do not play with your 3rd finger.
